Phil and Brenda Ciulla
Filippo Ciulla, a native Sicilian who was reared in Belgium, arrived in America in 1973 to study for the ministry at Conquerors Bible College. During his Bible school years, he met and married Brenda Beal. Following his CBC graduation in 1976, the Ciullas pastored in Washington State and evangelized in the Pacific Northwest. They received their appointment as UPCI missionaries to Belgium in October 1985. Ciulla, fluent in English, French, and Italian, returned home just in time to bid a final farewell to his dying pastor. The church Marcel Robin founded in Brussels has experienced tremendous growth under Ciulla’s leadership. He has also started four other churches and preaching points. In 1996 the Ciullas’ appointment
expanded to include Switzerland.
